I’m a journalist in Eugene, Oregon, and a graduate of University of Oregon’s journalism master’s program. I specialize in audio, images and words.

Born in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve worked as a photographer and reporter at newspapers in Albany, Corvallis, Coos Bay and Klamath Falls; and freelanced in Portland. I cover environment, housing and government — all the ways policies move people around the landscape. And I study power — how people acquire and use it.
